Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design of critical public infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater facilities. The role involves managing the structural scope of projects while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers. You will work on a diverse portfolio of reinforced concrete and steel structures, ensuring designs are practical and constructible. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 10 years of structural engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry systems
  • Experience with design of water and/or wastewater facility structures

Responsibilities

  • Manage the structural scope for projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
  • Assist with design and detailed document production.
  • Evaluate existing structures and develop repair and strengthening solutions.
  • Coordinate with contractors to address real-world construction constraints.
