The RF Systems Engineering team at Apple is seeking a passionate and self-motivated individual to enhance the overall system performance of multi-radio coexistence across various wireless technologies. • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with at least one radio technology such as Cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Thread, NFC, or UWB
• Knowledge of RF component characteristics and experience using lab equipment including spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes
• Master's degree in electrical engineering with 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience debugging and performing RF measurements at both conducted and radiated levels
• Familiarity with wireless protocol stack at the RF, PHY, and MAC layers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Assess platform-level multi-radio coexistence performance and its impact on end users
• Collaborate with wireless software partners to design software mitigation schemes and assess trade-offs
• Bring up devices under test and establish test procedures for multi-radio coexistence studies
• Analyze wireless logs to understand field usage patterns and conduct controlled performance studies
• Propose hardware and software design changes for coexistence issues while considering design constraints
• Execute validation and characterization test plans to meet coexistence performance targets
• Track validation status, analyze results, and communicate insights from data
• Collaborate with partners for circuit-level and system-level simulations to identify risk areas
