The Design Verification Engineer will join the Compute Silicon and Manufacturing Engineering team at Microsoft, which is essential for delivering high-quality cloud hardware. This role focuses on verifying complex system on chip (SoC) designs and improving verification methodologies. The team is dedicated to enhancing the planning process and ensuring the successful deployment of Microsoft's cloud infrastructure. Candidates should have a strong passion for customer-focused solutions and technical expertise in hardware verification.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to verification of moderately complex flows at the system on chip (SoC).
- Assist in developing verification agents, environments, and testbenches.
- Support verification through the full product life cycle from definition to silicon, including assisting in writing test plans, developing tests, debugging failures, and working towards coverage signoff.
- Contribute to the improvement of verification methodologies, processes, and tools.
