Job description

The iPhone Division is looking for a dedicated System Electrical Engineer to join their innovative engineering team. This role involves designing, implementing, and integrating various analog function blocks and subsystems for future iPhone products. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams, contract manufacturers, and IC vendors throughout different development stages. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-volume, high-quality consumer electronics.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of overall experience in the industry
  • Strong analog/mixed-signal fundamentals
  • Deep understanding of mixed-signal building blocks such as Op-amps, ADCs, DACs, and Sensors
  • Familiarity with low-power electronics, sensors, and sensor-interface circuits
  • Experience with digital interfaces such as I2C and SPI
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab and Python

Responsibilities

  • Work with a multi-functional team on systems level designs including system integration and schematic reviews
  • Support manufacturing and production testing, as well as systems validation and troubleshooting
  • Perform hardware prototyping and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with IC vendors throughout the custom silicon design cycle, including design review and bench characterization
  • Engage in bug tracking during the development process
