The Credit Portfolio Sr Analyst will be part of the in-Business Risk Management Decision Support team, focusing on the analysis, implementation, and validation of the Mortgage Business's Automated Underwriting system. This role involves independent analysis and documentation of the Decision Select AUS, which drives underwriting requirements and loan decision recommendations. The analyst will ensure compliance with Wealth RRE mortgage policy and optimize risk automation to support mortgage loan origination processes. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively across functions.

• 5 years of Mortgage Underwriting or 6-10 years of Mortgage Processing experience is required.
• Expertise in Credit Fundamentals, Credit Policy, and Mortgage Lending Programs is required.
• Proficiency in Mortgage loan origination systems such as LoanFX and Empower is required.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills are necessary.

• Analyze Wealth Credit Policy Guidelines utilized in Decision Select AUS on a monthly basis.
• Develop loan eligibility automation requirements in compliance with Credit Policy.
• Drive timely and high-quality automation in support of Policy and Process automation.
• Strengthen strategic impact by optimizing risk automation to support mortgage loan origination systems.
• Manage standard processes for scope/change management, risk management, and issue management.
• Communicate cross-functional requirements and understand business processes and workflows.
• Collaborate in identifying process improvements and efficiencies to support business unit goals.
• Assess risk when business decisions are made and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Escalate all risks and issues to management and senior stakeholders in a timely manner.
