The Linux Production Support Analyst role at Citi is focused on maintaining and ensuring compliance of Security Infrastructure and Security Applications with MISP requirements. This position is part of the Security Infrastructure organization and plays a critical role in safeguarding enterprise security compliance. The analyst will work closely with technical teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate vulnerabilities in production environments. • 4+ years of hands-on experience working with Linux systems in a production environment.
• 3+ years of IT Security Production Support experience, specifically within Security Infrastructure or Security Application support.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting at a minimum; advanced scripting capability is a plus.
• Experience with Splunk Core or Splunk ES for querying and researching security and data logs.
• Good working knowledge of networking protocols, security strategies, and application management practices.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Linux certifications (e.g., Linux System Administrator) are a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Maintain, certify, and ensure adherence to MISP requirements for Security Infrastructure and Security Applications.
• Support daily operations across existing infrastructure platforms and applications, including troubleshooting and monitoring.
• Resolve infrastructure product and application escalations by collaborating with internal technical teams.
• Query and research security logs and data logs using Splunk to support monitoring and incident investigation.
• Perform scripting in Bash/Shell to support automation and operational tasks.
• Maintain, track, and complete assigned tickets within the ticketing system queue in a timely manner.
• Resolve vulnerabilities and issues detected across applications and infrastructure environments.
• Analyze source code to identify and mitigate weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system.
• Review and validate automated testing results, prioritizing corrective actions based on overall risk ranking.
• Scan and analyze applications using automated tools and perform manual testing when required.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls.
• Analyze root causes of issues, assess their impact, and implement required corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Coordinate with business and technical contacts to direct the development and delivery of secure solutions.
