Job description

As a Capital Markets Senior Analyst on the Leveraged Finance team, you will connect investment banking and markets businesses while supporting a diverse range of clients. Your analyses will inform senior decision-makers and be shared with corporate clients and Citi leadership. The role requires a driven, professional, and collaborative individual to join a close-knit team. You will gain meaningful exposure to senior professionals across various sectors of Capital Markets.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Leveraged Finance, Capital Markets, or a related field
  • Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and work ethic
  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and analyzing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans
  • Providing support on day-to-day activity and live transactions, including Leveraged Loans, High Yield Bonds, and Private Debt for financing purposes
  • Creating summary materials on market conditions
  • Evaluating the company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends
