NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Architect for its GPU Communications Libraries and Networking team. This role focuses on co-designing next-generation data center platforms and scalable communications software to enhance AI and HPC workloads. The team is responsible for building crucial communication libraries that improve performance across large GPU clusters. The position offers an opportunity to innovate and advance state-of-the-art technologies in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- M.S./Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
- Experience with parallel programming models such as MPI and SHMEM.
- Deep understanding of operating systems and computer architecture.
- Strong experience with Linux.
Responsibilities
- Investigate opportunities to improve communication performance by identifying bottlenecks in today's systems.
- Design and implement new communication technologies to accelerate AI and HPC workloads.
- Explore innovative solutions in hardware and software for next-generation platforms.
- Build proofs-of-concept and conduct experiments to evaluate new innovations.
- Use simulation to explore performance of large GPU clusters.
