NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Architect for its GPU Communications Libraries and Networking team. This role focuses on co-designing next-generation data center platforms and scalable communications software to enhance AI and HPC workloads. The team is responsible for building crucial communication libraries that improve performance across large GPU clusters. • M.S./Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with parallel programming models such as MPI and SHMEM.
• Deep understanding of operating systems and computer architecture.
• Strong experience with Linux.

• Investigate opportunities to improve communication performance by identifying bottlenecks in today's systems.
• Design and implement new communication technologies to accelerate AI and HPC workloads.
• Explore innovative solutions in hardware and software for next-generation platforms.
• Build proofs-of-concept and conduct experiments to evaluate new innovations.
• Use simulation to explore performance of large GPU clusters.
