The NVIDIA DGXC Data Services team is focused on developing a cloud-native stack of software services for managing data across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures. This role involves crafting software services that enhance NVIDIA's internal platforms and external cloud infrastructure. The team is dedicated to solving complex challenges related to data management for high-performance GPU-based training and inference jobs. Candidates will work closely with technical leaders and the research team to leverage new storage and compute innovations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of proven experience in software engineering.
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
- Experience building and shipping services around Kubernetes and Cloud Service Providers.
- Familiarity with one of the leading cloud providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Programming experience in relevant languages such as Go, Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Understanding of software engineering principles and ability to document software and services.
Responsibilities
- Design and build software code and cloud services for Data Management.
- Manage metadata and lifecycle of datasets and checkpoints.
- Collaborate with technical leaders across NVIDIA to utilize existing technologies.
- Work with the NVIDIA research team to incorporate new storage and compute innovations.
- Communicate design, status, and other complex subjects effectively.
