Job description

The role is part of NVIDIA's Silicon Co-design Group, focusing on system-level performance and power management features for datacenter and client products. The ArchDev team drives silicon and system-level feature development, ensuring alignment across the organization. This position involves collaborating with various teams to optimize product efficiency and address market needs. Candidates will have the opportunity to lead debug efforts and contribute to groundbreaking technologies in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in EE/CE or equivalent experience with 8+ years in silicon power architecture and system-level design.
  • Strong fundamentals in digital design, low power design, DVFS, control systems, and power management.
  • Solid understanding of firmware/driver structures and hardware/software interaction.
  • Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Programming proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Perl in Windows/Linux environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and integrate system-level performance and power management features to optimize product efficiency.
  • Build feature roadmaps to address low-power and performance-per-watt product needs.
  • Partner with architecture, ASIC, board/platform, software/firmware, and marketing teams to drive design decisions.
  • Track industry trends and market needs to translate them into forward-looking roadmaps.
  • Lead debug efforts and support bringup, validation, manufacturing, and customer escalations.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
