The role involves providing technical applications support for KLA's optical thin film and SCD metrology in customer fabrication and KLA facilities. The team focuses on recipe development, technical training, and project execution to meet customer needs. This position requires collaboration with sales staff and the ability to analyze complex problems. The FaST Division is committed to supporting customers from research and development through to high-volume manufacturing.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree with 3 years of related work experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of related work experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA optical thin film and SCD metrology.
- Be responsible for customers' recipe development and setup, technical training, project execution, and related pre-sales activities.
- Assist sales staff in assessing potential applications of company products to meet customer needs.
- Report on regional requirements and updates to the product division.
- Escalate field applications issues to the division and follow up for issue resolution.
- Generate film and SCD recipe development best-known methods and publish technical papers.
- Review and evaluate the quality of data in related technical documents.
- Serve as Applications Representative for PLC projects.
