Job description
As a Data Engineer in the WW Pricing Data & Analytics team, you will be responsible for creating data models and ML data infrastructure that enhance pricing algorithms. You will work with a team of Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineers to develop data flows that optimize service performance. This role involves working with complex data to uncover insights that drive customer and seller success. Your contributions will help improve operational and reporting efficiency through GenAI based solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, including Redshift, Athena, and Spark SQL.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark and EMR.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and star/snowflake schemas.
- At least 1 year of data engineering experience.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience with one or more query languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, or HiveQL.
- Experience with one or more scripting languages such as Python or KornShell.
- Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
Responsibilities
