Job description
This role is for a software development engineer on Amazon's Homepage team, responsible for designing, developing, and shipping one of the world's most recognized websites. The team focuses on creating customer-centric experiences across various devices while ensuring high performance and scalability. Engineers will work with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve the homepage experience. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
- 1+ years of programming experience using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
