The Developer Relations Engineer for Chrome AI at Google is responsible for engaging with developer communities and advocating for their needs within the company. The position requires a strong understanding of web development and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of work experience in a technical role such as software engineering or solutions consulting.
  • 3 years of experience engaging at technology conferences, blogging, or contributing to open source projects.
  • Experience building AI-first products, tools, or applications.
  • Knowledge of web development, including front-end, back-end, or full-stack development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Engage regularly in-person in the San Francisco Bay Area to establish relationships within the web and AI ecosystems.
  • Build and test AI products, demos, tools, or applications.
  • Drive the success of browser-native AI architectures and establish best practices for AI-first web applications.
  • Solicit, collect, and synthesize developer feedback on Chrome and web AI features.
  • Present analysis to internal teams to influence Chrome's developer strategy.
  • Contribute to online technology communities or open-source projects.
