Job description

The Control Systems Networking Engineer role at Google focuses on addressing complex Operational Technology (OT) networking and infrastructure challenges within data centers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience leading the technical design and implementation of OT infrastructure and networking.
  • Experience in industrial control system architecture related to network segmentation and standard protocols.
  • Experience with industrial control system hardware and their integration with networking layers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scope and requirements for networking initiatives to drive design and implementation of secure OT security solutions.
  • Perform technical reviews of new control system infrastructure initiatives, embedding networking requirements into the lifecycle.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between cross-functional teams to resolve complex design and deployment challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maturation of the OT environment to drive risk reduction.
