Job description

The Compliance Associate role at Boston Consulting Group is an entry-level, 8-month contractor position within the NAMR Regional Compliance Team. This team is part of BCG's Risk Management and Global Compliance function, focusing on compliance advisory, training, and procedural tasks. The role involves supporting compliance initiatives and ensuring adherence to laws and internal policies. The Compliance Associate will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to promote compliance awareness and efficiency.

Requirements

  • An academic degree in a relevant discipline is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in BCG global services or 2-3 years in a compliance or risk management role is required.
  • Experience in a professional services, legal, compliance, or risk management environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Outstanding English written and oral communication skills are required, with additional languages desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with business intelligence tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Management and the System Commercial Advisory process by evaluating complex clients and topics.
  • Assist the Regional Compliance team in delivering compliance programs and initiatives across NAMR.
  • Coordinate training rollouts and prepare meeting materials and communications.
  • Conduct preliminary reviews and research related to client and project acceptance processes.
  • Monitor the implementation of compliance-related policies and risk mitigation measures.
  • Compile and maintain compliance reporting, metrics, and dashboards for regional leadership.
  • Support compliance communications and awareness initiatives across the region.
  • Collect and analyze compliance-related information to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance on compliance datasets.
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance processes.
