Requirements

  • Candidates must possess one of the following certifications: CPA, JD, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • A master's degree in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in accounting, finance, or tax performance improvement is necessary.
  • Knowledge of tax technology solutions and experience in tax software development or implementation is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Identify ways to improve operational effectiveness in tax functions for clients.
  • Review existing processes and controls, including technology systems used in tax functions.
  • Assess overall risk to establish a proper control environment for tax operations.
  • Design and build custom tax applications to meet client needs.
  • Manage the quality of deliverables from offshore teams to ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
