Job description

Arcadis is seeking a motivated geophysical specialist to join their Geophysics Team, which focuses on sustainable design and consultancy solutions for environmental investigation and remediation. The role involves providing technical support for geophysical services across various projects in the U.S. and internationally. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a specialized team. This position offers flexibility through hybrid work arrangements and requires fieldwork that may involve travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysics, Geophysical Engineering, or Geological Engineering with significant geophysics coursework
  • Familiarity with geophysical data analysis and interpretation techniques
  • Demonstrable ability to setup, operate, and troubleshoot geophysical data collection activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 10+ years of experience in applied geophysics

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to project teams requiring geophysical services
  • Assist and lead geophysical professionals in data pre-processing and modeling
  • Research published papers to support geophysical professionals
  • Coordinate fieldwork and equipment rental schedules with internal teams and vendors
  • Manage and execute geophysical projects involving multiple team members
