Requirements
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field such as quantum computing, quantum algorithms, or machine learning.
- Experience in academic graduate programs related to quantum algorithms and machine learning.
- Proficiency in developing and analyzing quantum algorithms for simulation.
- Experience with quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical learning workflows.
- Familiarity with implementing research code and using ML frameworks like Qiskit.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for simulating physical systems and hybrid quantum-classical learning workflows.
- Demonstrate quantum algorithms on real-world applications in physics, chemistry, and materials science.
- Improve and develop quantum machine learning methods that integrate quantum and classical resources.
- Develop learning theory results for quantum machine learning, including generalization and complexity bounds.
- Expand the quantum ecosystem through collaborations with ML and quantum communities.
