• 6+ years of experience building and operating scalable backend or distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic systems, encryption, or key management.
• Strong experience in Golang or a similar systems-level programming language.
• Experience designing and operating resilient systems in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence architecture decisions.

• Design and build secure, cryptography-driven systems.
• Architect and develop backend services and APIs that power encryption and key management.
• Contribute to and evolve Vault's core cryptographic capabilities.
• Own complex initiatives from architecture through production rollout.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
