The Electrical & Controls Engineer will serve as a technical contributor for electrical power systems and controls engineering within One MHS. This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of electrical power distribution and control systems for material handling projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position requires deep technical expertise in both electrical power design and controls engineering.

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent, or 7+ years of experience developing electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Experience with industrial control systems, both hardware and software
• Deep understanding of EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and PROFINET communication protocols
• Proficiency with IPCs, PLC programming, and SCADA system design
• Thorough understanding of NEC and its application to industrial installations
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Experience with material handling systems including conveyors and sortation

• Design all power and controls systems related to material handling projects.
• Develop electrical layouts, schematics, control architectures, and panel standardization.
• Conduct in-field installation audits to verify compliance with design specifications and NEC code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure all designs and installations comply with applicable safety standards.
