This role is part of the global controls team within AWS Infrastructure Services, focusing on the design, management, and operation of building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS) in data centers. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The position involves troubleshooting, project management, and developing new processes while innovating in the controls space. You will also engage with stakeholders to deliver projects that enhance operational capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems
• Knowledge of critical data center equipment and engineering documentation
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA

• Train and assist internal customers and stakeholders with BMS and EPMS systems.
• Provide technical assistance and support to operations during the life cycle of the data center.
• Develop BMS and EPMS project scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of efforts.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance, and execution of BMS and EPMS improvement projects.
• Assist in procurement activities including responding to requests for information and reviewing vendor proposals.
• Participate in AWS global on-call schedule to provide immediate technical support.
• Attend project-related meetings and coordinate with project leaders.
• Support commissioning activities related to controls projects in data centers.
• Review, implement, troubleshoot, and iterate on the controls sequence of operation.
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
