The Field Applications Engineer at NVIDIA focuses on datacenter system and network design for AI computing. This role involves providing onsite technical support for large datacenter deployments and engaging with customers to ensure successful implementation of NVIDIA AI solutions. The engineer will work closely with sales teams and customer engineers to address complex hardware issues and establish strong technical relationships. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across various teams.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
- In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
- Solve complex hardware and deployment issues.
- Act as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products supporting sales account managers.
- Establish technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects.
- Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
- Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
- Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.
