The Autonomous Vehicles Platform Team is seeking a hands-on software engineer to create innovative solutions for self-driving cars. This role involves building replay tools and collaborating with multi-functional teams to validate and verify the AV software stack. The engineer will engage in challenging work that addresses complex problems in the transportation sector. The position requires a strong technical background and a passion for advancing autonomous vehicle technology.

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of relevant experience working in software engineering and replay/simulation.
• Excellent C and C++ programming skills.
• Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex systems.
• Strong understanding of QNX, Linux, and real-time operating systems.
• Solid understanding of replay/simulation concepts and a strong foundation in mathematics.
• Experience working on a large scale replay/simulation system for an AV stack.
• Ability to self-manage and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Collaborate across platform software, infrastructure, and ADAS algorithm teams to translate requirements into replay framework architecture and design.
• Drive technical solutions for new concepts related to replay framework and infrastructure.
• Design, document, and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance while matching or exceeding customer requirements.
• Engage in exciting, fun, and challenging work involving a plethora of unsolved problems.
