Job description

The Applied Intelligence team at Apple is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop applications that enhance intelligent capabilities through Siri and search. This role involves working across the full stack, from native apps to server integrations, and collaborating with various teams. The focus is on integrating machine learning and AI technologies while ensuring security and privacy within the Apple ecosystem. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building software solutions for iOS or macOS.
  • A track record of working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and ML engineers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across the full stack, including UI, application logic, and networking/services.
  • A BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong product focus and ability to advocate for the end user experience.
  • Deep understanding of software quality and strong opinions on it.
  • Experience building software that utilizes full platform capabilities.
  • Familiarity with search technologies, information retrieval, or knowledge systems.
  • Familiarity with ML concepts or experience integrating ML models into applications.
