  • Proficiency in solid modeling tools such as NX, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
  • Experience in developing high-precision test and measurement systems.
  • Familiarity with basic analog electronics concepts such as noise, EMI, filters, and grounding.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing with CNC.
  • Experience in high-level scripting for test automation, with Python being a plus.
  • Experience with PCB schematic design and test board development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test setups and procedures to automate validation of capacitive touch sensing modules.
  • Analyze the requirements of an evolving product portfolio.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineering disciplines.
  • Identify opportunities to define a common testing approach where possible.
  • Utilize low-volume prototyping tools such as laser cutters and 3D printers.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
