Job description

The role involves managing day-to-day facilities operations and preventative maintenance for a production cleanroom facility within KLA's Global Workplace Services team. This team focuses on enabling business goals and fostering a productive workplace environment. The position requires collaboration with engineers and third-party contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and effective facility operations. The role also includes troubleshooting and coordinating maintenance for critical systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience in facility engineering.
  • Minimum eight years of proven experience working in high tech manufacturing.
  • Experience with tool installation projects, including permitting and EH&S aspects.
  • Solid technical knowledge of chemical delivery, power distribution, water purification, and HVAC systems in cleanroom environments.
  • Familiarity with SEMI standards and cleanroom classifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations and preventative maintenance for the cleanroom facility.
  • Work directly with the chief engineer and stationary engineers.
  • Collaborate with the EHS team to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate and manage tool installation in the facility for capacity needs.
  • Monitor the BMS monitoring system to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide after-hours support including onsite ERT responses.
