Job description

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 3 years of experience designing and developing backend services and APIs using Go (Golang) or Java.
  • 3 years of experience deploying and operating containerized applications in Kubernetes-based production environments.
  • 3 years of experience designing and integrating high-performance service communication interfaces using HTTP/HTTPS or gRPC.
  • 3 years of experience implementing system and application observability solutions using Prometheus.
  • 3 years of experience configuring and managing Grafana for visualization and alerting.
  • 3 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining relational and non-relational databases.
  • 3 years of experience supporting distributed systems and applying fault-tolerance techniques.
  • 3 years of experience supporting production systems running on Linux-based operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, engineer, test, and release software solutions for observability features.
  • Collaborate with customer teams to plan timelines and make configuration changes.
  • Debug and resolve software defects by screening and implementing fixes.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to team standards.
  • Utilize knowledge of Apple's data centers to meet customer needs.
  • Develop project plans and present information to cross-functional teams.
