Job description

AMD is seeking a MTS Software Development Engineer to focus on researching, designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software and AI features. Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning and Data Science, or related field.
  • One year of experience as a Software Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or closely related engineering occupation.
  • One year of experience in C, C++, or Python.
  • Experience in machine learning software development and developing machine learning or AI models.
  • Familiarity with data structures, Git, and SQL.
  • Any amount of experience in developing data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software and compilers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
  • Develop AI software for production features like LLM-powered agents.
  • Create AI systems courses covering GPU optimization and reinforcement learning algorithms.
  • Project manage end-to-end AI course development workflows.
  • Drive software and systems solutions, including development and product definitions.
  • Exercise independent judgment to select methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
