AMD is seeking Silicon Design Engineers to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in performing hardware or software verification.
• Experience in logic and circuit design.
• Experience in RTL design or coding.
• Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of CPU or GPU architecture.
• Experience in software debugging using macOS, Linux, or Unix.
• Understanding of memory management.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of various factors.
• Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
• Apply engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of AMD products.
