Job description

AMD is seeking a Senior Program Management Analyst to enhance organizational processes and support program execution. The role involves collaboration with Systems Engineering teams to manage budgets, analyze operational data, and consult on hiring needs. The analyst will engage with technical and business leaders to document program scopes and manage resource allocation. This position is crucial for driving cross-functional technical engagements and ensuring alignment between engineering teams and program milestones.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Three years of experience as an industrial engineer, program engineer, or in a closely related technical program management position.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the same fields plus five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in C, C++, or Python.
  • Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and long-range financial planning.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, and data automation for managing operational data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and share best-in-class processes to streamline and grow the organization.
  • Maintain program POR HC and budget while analyzing divergences versus actuals.
  • Build and analyze organizational metrics to consult on hiring needs.
  • Engage with technical and business leadership teams to document program scope and establish integrated schedules.
  • Support post-silicon program execution by coordinating validation and debug efforts.
  • Work with customer-facing engineering and business teams to set product maturity and schedule expectations.
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics in the design, development, and testing of proprietary products.
