AMD is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The role focuses on developing and debugging bare-metal GPU firmware for various AMD ASICs throughout different phases. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• One year of experience as a system or firmware engineer or in a related engineering role.
• Experience in performing software and hardware verification.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, or C++.
• Knowledge of logic and circuit design.
• Familiarity with CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture.
• Experience in low-level device drivers and embedded driver development.
• Understanding of Linux or Windows internals.
