Job description

In this role, you will work within teams of 3-5 consultants to engage with clients on strategic issues, focusing on valuation principles and business analysis. You will conduct due diligence, financial benchmarking, and competitor analysis to provide fact-based recommendations. You will collaborate with experts across various fields to solve complex problems for clients in the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with 1+ years of work experience after completing your degree or a master’s degree.
  • 1+ years of strategy, corporate finance, valuation, M&A or due diligence experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, or major corporation.
  • Outstanding record of academic achievement with a strong record of leadership in an academic, professional or extracurricular setting.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in the investing industry, with a basic understanding of industry functioning, drivers, or key players.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics and excel fluency with exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, creative thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Adaptability and openness to collaborate in a flexible environment.
  • Sensitivity on social responsibility and ambition to have a real impact on clients and on our communities.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze information to formulate and test hypotheses.
  • Develop and communicate recommendations to leadership.
  • Conduct extensive due diligence work, including collecting historical deal-related information.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive work plans and review contracts and policies.
  • Analyze data, identify risks, and conduct competitor and financial analysis.
  • Provide fact-based rationale for client’s strategic choices across organic and inorganic opportunities.
  • Consult on multiple client engagements across a range of industry areas.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to solve complex problems.
