The Security Engineer position within the Asset and Wealth Management division focuses on enhancing the cybersecurity risk posture of the firm. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure the security of applications across multiple platforms. The engineer will act as a security advisor and work to embed security controls within the Software Development Life Cycle. The position aims to foster a proactive approach to risk management while protecting client assets and data.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience in secure architecture design, application security, and risk analysis techniques.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and using sound judgment when managing risks.
- Knowledge of application security best practices including OWASP and CWE.
- Hands-on software development and/or application penetration testing experience in complex environments.
- Experience in Financial Services or Fintech is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and evaluate security solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Act as a security advisor to architects, developers, and analysts.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing key controls and recommend improvements.
- Drive the adoption of embedded application security controls in Agile methodology.
- Facilitate secure code reviews and penetration testing.
