Job description

The Electrical Engineer will coordinate, develop, and produce deliverables for electrical design projects primarily for US Federal Government facilities. This role requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, including architects and various engineering disciplines. The position is hybrid, allowing for both in-office and remote work, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards under tight deadlines. The Electrical Engineer will also mentor junior staff and ensure quality control throughout project milestones.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is necessary.
  • At least 10 years of electrical design experience is required.
  • Professional Registration (PE) is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in REVIT and other relevant software tools is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Designer of Record (DOR) for electrical design projects.
  • Gather information and perform calculations to prepare original layouts and sketches.
  • Present findings and outcomes to clients and stakeholders.
  • Design and perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
  • Provide staffing development and mentoring for junior staff.
