The Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst plays a crucial role in shaping the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy and Data Risk and Control Framework. This position requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to changing needs while managing multiple responsibilities. The analyst will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with data governance policies and track data-related issues. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential for influencing stakeholders and guiding the implementation of data governance initiatives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Process Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis.
- 3+ years of experience with Risk management concepts, particularly in wholesale credit risk.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple teams to implement relevant Data Governance policies and Data Risk and Control framework.
- Provide expertise on Data Governance and Data Risk and Controls framework, including design and performance monitoring.
- Oversee and analyze data-related issues, tracking ownership, target dates, and associated metrics.
- Support and coordinate with business lines on enterprise Data Governance strategy roll out.
- Gather and synthesize metrics on existing Data Governance principles and industry best practices.
- Produce recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes, and practices.
- Determine requirements for and prioritize development of new enterprise-wide principles and policies.
- Develop and manage the approach for measuring adoption of principles, policies, processes, and practices.
