Job description
The Investment Banking Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position focused on assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets and providing strategic advisory services for mergers and acquisitions. This role involves working closely with senior Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory professionals as part of the Institutional Banking team. The analyst will also serve as an intermediary in trading for clients, aiming to formulate investment strategies and raise capital. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Series 79 and 63 licenses
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Work with senior Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory officers and professionals on client transactions projects as the junior member of the Investment Banking team.
- Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans.
- Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
- Conduct economic and financial research.
- Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends.
- Build complex financial models for valuation purposes.
