Job description
This role at Apple involves developing, integrating, and validating state-of-the-art Cellular Modem Solutions in San Diego, California. The position focuses on optimizing various end-to-end features for cellular modem solutions in both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. The team is responsible for ensuring the full operation and optimization of PHY/Layer1 Modules. Candidates will work closely with cellular standards and protocols to deliver high-performance solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience utilizing communication systems theory to interpret and analyze cellular baseband signals.
- Familiarity with 4G and 5G Cellular Standards and protocols.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Matlab, or Python.
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and validate cellular modem solutions.
- Perform bring-up and optimization of various end-to-end features.
- Design and develop end-to-end performance KPI tests in the lab.
- Analyze issues related to L1, MAC, and RF and bring them to resolution.
- Utilize cellular test equipment to validate compliance with cellular standards.
