Blink is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to join their Cloud Development Team, focused on creating innovative home security solutions. The role involves developing large-scale cloud services that will be utilized by millions of customers. Candidates will work with advanced technologies including streaming video and distributed systems. This position emphasizes collaboration with top engineers to enhance Blink's infrastructure within the Amazon ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience building services using AWS products
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL
Responsibilities
- Develop new cloud services for innovative capabilities on Blink security devices
- Continue development of the Blink infrastructure within the larger Amazon ecosystem
- Design, architect, and operate large-scale cloud systems
- Solve distributed systems problems
- Work with streaming video and event handling
