The Loan Doc & Proc Team Coord is a seasoned professional responsible for managing and reviewing loan documentation while supporting various tasks related to the loan process. This role requires in-depth knowledge of loan documentation processes and the ability to lead a small team. The individual will evaluate complex issues, provide recommendations for process improvements, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this position.

• 5-8 years of experience in loan documentation and processing
• Fluent in Portuguese (written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement
• Reasonable knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools used in the loan process
• Demonstrate understanding of loan processes, procedures, products, and services
• Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues
• Awareness of risk types, policies, and control measures and processes
• Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhere to policies
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

• Manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation while providing support to various tasks related to the loan process.
• Independently process and close loans within a complex loan operations environment.
• Apply professional judgment and analytical thinking to make recommendations for process improvement.
• Lead and provide guidance to a small team in loan documentation tasks.
• Deal with loan-related problems independently and resolve complex issues.
• Interpret data and prepare reports, presenting findings to management with recommendations.
• Design and analyze complex reports related to loan documentation processes.
• Participate in and support the implementation of assigned projects.
• Identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline related work processes.
• Minimize risk to the bank by providing solutions to reduce errors and adhere to audit policies.
• Manage, escalate, and resolve all requests, inquiries, issues, and errors related to loan documentation.
• Provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to new team members.
• Interact directly with external customers to explain information.
