The Digital Assets Platform Blockchain Engineer at Citi is a hands-on software engineer focused on backend development with a Java emphasis. The ideal candidate will be proactive and possess a strong understanding of enterprise-grade web applications, blockchain technology, and digital assets. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering; MS or PhD in computer science or related discipline is a plus.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in full software development and testing lifecycle.
- 5 to 7 years of experience and expertise with Backend web development using Java Spring.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in web3 application development is a plus.
- Experience developing web applications adhering to best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members in implementing web applications leveraging blockchain technology.
- Own and deliver functional scope end-to-end of applications leveraging blockchain technology.
- Solve engineering challenges to meet stakeholders' requirements and expectations.
- Use best practices and design patterns for enterprise web applications.
- Contribute and maintain technical documents for code and applications built and maintained.
