Job description
The Cross-disciplinary Controls Lead Analyst at Citibank will focus on assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of existing controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk. This role involves supporting the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and ensuring compliance with various policies and standards. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to develop corrective action plans and participate in governance committee operations. The position may allow for a hybrid work schedule within a commutable distance from the Tampa, FL location.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Six years of experience in operational risk management and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency in enterprise risk platforms and regulatory reporting applications.
- Experience utilizing analytical frameworks for process effectiveness and operational improvement.
- Knowledge of data governance and regulatory frameworks impacting financial reporting.
- Experience in developing regulatory and control initiatives with cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities
- Support the assessment of the effectiveness of existing controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Create controls enhancements focused on increasing efficiency and reducing risk.
- Assist in the execution of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and adherence to compliance policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive corrective action plans for identified control gaps.
- Participate in issue quality reviews to ensure compliance with Issue Management Policy.
- Support the development of standardized risk and controls reporting for better management and decision-making.
