The Business Analytics Lead Analyst at Citibank will focus on optimizing marketing strategies for retail banking products through advanced analytics. This role involves executing statistical testing and developing frameworks to evaluate customer behavior. The analyst will also engage in customer segmentation and performance trend analysis to support strategic initiatives. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and effective reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Six years of experience in advanced data analytics and business analytics to support strategy development.
• Understanding of statistical experimentation and market testing methodologies, including A/B testing.
• Proficiency in statistical experimental design, financial simulation modeling, and forecasting techniques.
• Experience developing and maintaining KPI dashboards using Excel, Tableau, and SQL.
• Ability to analyze customer behavior using statistical methods and tools such as SQL, Python, SAS, and Excel.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, analytics, and risk/governance.

• Provide end-to-end support of retail bank decisioning through advanced analytics.
• Execute structured statistical testing and controlled design of experimentation frameworks.
• Establish and maintain Business As Usual (BAU) operating frameworks for retail banking products.
• Design and implement customer segmentation and behavioral analytics frameworks.
• Engage in evaluation of offer and campaign performance through behavioral and performance trend analysis.
• Maintain risk, governance, and control documentation to support analytical methodologies.
• Develop forecasting and model financial simulation scenarios for program investment assessments.
• Support financial review and approval processes to monitor profitability and risk-adjusted performance.
• Build and maintain performance measurement and reporting frameworks for retail marketing initiatives.
• Translate complex data trends into business insights for senior leadership decision-making.
• Perform advanced analytical deep dives to validate hypotheses and identify business growth opportunities.
• Design and maintain automated data extraction, preprocessing, and transformation processes.
• Apply quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques using tools like Python, SAS, SQL, and Excel.
