JobsSenior Mixed Signal Design Engineer
Job description
This position is for a senior engineer in the mixed-signal design team at NVIDIA, focusing on developing next-generation NVLINK technology. The role involves working with high-speed interfaces and analog circuits, providing an opportunity to impact various product lines including consumer graphics and self-driving cars. The team values innovation and collaboration, and the engineer will play a crucial role in taking integrated circuit designs from concept to silicon characterization. Candidates should be ready to tackle challenges in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.
Requirements
- Master's and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a strong analog design background.
- At least 3 years of analog design experience in the industry.
- Experience with CMOS Analog and Mixed Signal Circuit Design in deep sub-micron processes, particularly in FINFET.
- Proficiency in design and verification tools such as Cadence's IC design environment and analog circuit simulation tools like Spectre and HSpice.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-speed interfaces and analog circuits.
- Define circuit requirements and complete design from schematic, layout, and verification to characterization.
- Conduct schematic design of deep-submicron CMOS technologies using tools like Spectre and Hspice.
- Take ownership of the architecture, transistor design, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Optimize circuits to meet specifications for system performance.
- Work closely with layout engineers to provide detailed floorplans and guidance for matching and high-speed routings.
- Provide support for post-silicon bring-up and debugging.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
