The role is for a software engineer in Amazon's Item and Relationship Platform group, focusing on enhancing the product catalog using advanced AI technologies. The team aims to improve product identity and relationships within Amazon's vast catalog, leveraging Generative AI and multimodal reasoning. Engineers will work on building state-of-the-art diagnostics and analytics services to ensure data traceability and transparency. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience with generative AI technologies and AI-native development practices
Responsibilities
- Formulate novel solutions for foundational challenges in agentic systems
- Design and implement leading agentic frameworks for product identity and relationship inference
- Pioneer explainable AI methodologies for production systems impacting customer decisions
- Own end-to-end data pipelines from ideation to production deployment
- Define product roadmaps aligned with business priorities
- Represent the team in the broader Analytics and Diagnostics community
