This role involves collaboration with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to deliver high safety and security standards while maximizing capacity and minimizing costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center environmental controls systems and project management. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in building controls and automation initiatives.

  • 3+ years of experience working with industrial controls systems.
  • Experience with power monitoring and SCADA systems.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Track, document, communicate, and enhance global data center design standards.
  • Review MEP drawings with a focus on electrical drawing sets for EPMS design content.
  • Create EPMS scopes of work (SOW) and provide RFI support.
  • Coordinate with regional project managers to review and finalize project SOWs.
  • Attend Factory Witness Tests (FWTs) and Equipment Qualification Tests (EQTs) for EPMS point validation.
  • Create, update, and maintain controls points list and specifications.
  • Develop and disseminate specification documents for global projects.
  • Lead collaboration with multiple teams including construction, programmers, and engineers.
  • Manage and prioritize requests for information on new construction builds and existing site facilities support.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for multiple internal and external groups regarding EPMS design standards.

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs. Overall, the package is designed to support employees and their families’ health, finances, and day-to-day life.
