Job description
The Google Cloud Customer Engineering Associate role focuses on helping organizations digitally transform their business using Google Cloud technologies. This position involves collaborating with sales teams to understand customer needs and providing technical expertise to resolve challenges. The associate will work closely with internal product management and engineering teams to advocate for customer requirements and influence product roadmaps. This role is based in Austin, TX, and may allow for a hybrid work schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in a Customer Engineer-related occupation.
- Experience in cloud native and hybrid architecture design, including on-premise to cloud migration.
- Knowledge of public cloud platform technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience in technical presentation delivery or technical solution demonstration.
- Familiarity with edge computing development, including Web Assembly or serverless functions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities and understand customer needs.
- Develop strategies to resolve technical blockers and secure technical wins.
- Provide subject matter expertise on content delivery networks through solution briefings and product demonstrations.
- Recommend optimal integration strategies and enterprise architectures for Google Cloud solutions.
- Demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations within customer environments.
- Advocate for customer requirements by partnering with internal teams to influence product roadmaps.
