The Structural Engineer (Civil Works) position at Jacobs focuses on maritime and civil works infrastructure. • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience designing structures for maritime, civil works, and buildings.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplined environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentations.
• Proficiency in structural finite element analysis software such as ETABS, RISA, RAM, STAAD, SAP2000, and MathCAD.
• Knowledge of technical codes and standards including IBC, ASCE, and UFC.
• United States Citizenship.
