Job description
The Senior Electrical Engineer will coordinate and develop deliverables for electrical design projects primarily for US Federal Government facilities. This role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of work. The engineer will work in a hybrid environment, balancing office presence with remote work. The position focuses on high-quality electrical design and compliance with various design codes.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is necessary.
- At least 10 years of electrical design experience is required.
- Professional Registration (PE) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in REVIT and other relevant software tools is essential.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Designer of Record (DOR) for electrical design projects.
- Gather information and perform calculations to prepare original layouts and sketches.
- Present findings and outcomes to clients and stakeholders.
- Design and perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Provide staffing development and mentoring for junior staff.
