The role is for a Software Engineer in the Microsoft Advertising Platform team, focusing on building innovative marketing solutions for e-commerce. The team works with large datasets and leverages Microsoft cloud infrastructure to enhance customer satisfaction. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years experience in building scalable, secure, high performance products and services on the backend.
• Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.

• Design, develop, and deliver innovative and impactful features.
• Work on coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
• Drive long-term architectural improvements and development for highly scalable services with quality, performance, and maintainability as core tenets.
• Drive collaboration across teams to deliver high-quality solutions from concept to release and live operations.
• Mentor and develop engineers across all levels through sharing and learning.
